Zebrowski Law has settled a Michigan No-Fault bad faith case in the Southwest United States for Twenty-Five Million Dollars.
2.2 Million
Our client was 16 years of age when he was rendered a quadriplegic as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Our client’s twin brother was his primary care giver after the accident. He provided not only assistance with all activities of daily living but also provided LPN care due to the severity of our client’s injuries. The insurance carrier grossly underpaid the benefits owed for the care provided to him. The case was resolved for $2.2 Million.

Our client was catastrophically injured at the age of 10 when he was hit by a car after chasing his puppy into the street. He suffered a severe closed head injury and severe physical injuries requiring a lifetime of attendant care and constant supervision. Our client’s mother was his primary care giver with the help of his grandfather. $5 Million Substantial compensation was recovered for the care provided on a daily basis.
4.85 Million
Our client was age 46 when he became permanently blind as the result of a motor vehicle accident. His family and friends cared for him daily after the accident, receiving no compensation from the insurance carrier. The case was resolved for $4.85 Million.
3.25 Million
Our client was 19 years of age when she was catastrophically injured after being struck by a car while crossing the street. Her accident occurred in 1983 and for years her parents cared for her with the assistance of outside home health agencies. Substantial compensation was recovered for the gross underpayment of benefits for the care provided to her by her parents. The case was resolved for $3.25 Million.

Our client was 21 years of age when he was involved in a single vehicle accident, rendering him a quadriplegic. His family and friends cared for him throughout the years with little resources available to them. A significant recovery was made for the care provided on a daily basis. Our client’s claim was settled on the second day of trial in Wayne County Circuit Court. The case was resolved for $10 Million.

Our client, at age 21, was a front seat passenger involved in a serious car accident. Her injuries were catastrophic in nature. She suffered damage to her knees, her jaw, and a severe closed head injury resulting in a seizure disorder. Our client’s husband and sister have provided daily care for her since the accident. State Farm failed to pay our client for any of the care provided to her for years following the accident. The case was resolved for $5.8 Million.

Our client was ejected from the back seat of a motor vehicle when it was violently rear ended. He was 19 years of age when the accident occurred. He suffered severe injuries resulting in him remaining in a vegetative state since the accident. Our client requires 24 hour nursing care which has been provided for by his insurance company. Our client’s mother has been an integral part of his care since the accident, providing hands-on assistance to the nurses in caring for him. His mother monitors the nurses daily and trains any new nurses hired by the agency. Our client’s mother was never compensated for the care and services she has provided to her son. A Macomb County jury awarded $3.3 Million.
4.5 Million
Our client, at age 5, was tragically killed when run over by a Van Buren Public Schools school bus, driven by a substitute driver. Our client leaves behind his parents, two sisters, a younger brother and numerous other family members. Our client’s case was presented to a Wayne County jury which awarded $4.5 Million for the tragic death of this young boy.
